Advanced Certificate Course in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Supply Chain: The sequence of organizations - their facilities, functions, and activities - that are involved in producing and delivering a product or service.

This course will investigate key ideas and arrangements that can be utilized to upgrade the coordination between supply network responsiveness and the costs required to convey required business results. Supply chain management (SCM) involves management of flows or products, information, and finance upstream and downstream in the supply
chain within organizations. SCM is a broadened management focus that considers the combined impact of all the companies involved in the production of goods and services, from suppliers to manufacturers, to wholesalers, retailers, final consumers, and beyond to disposal and recycling. In fact, SCM has high impact in terms of operations management
within organizations to achieve stakeholders’ satisfaction.

It plays an integral role for businesses to compete in the dynamic international market. The objective of SCM is to incorporate activities across and within organizations to provide the customer the best of value. An integrated supply chain involves coordination and information sharing up and down the process among all stakeholders. With technology facilitating
information flow, a coordinated supply chain can be designed to meet the strategic, planning, and operating objectives of the organizations. It also means establishing effective and feasible relationships both inside and outside the organization. This will be shared with attendees giving real life case studies. By the application of a thoroughly designed SCM plan, the Manufacturing and Services Industries would be improved significantly. From food, garments, textiles, electronics and computers, among others. Hospitals, educational institutions, banks, and others in the service industries would enhance their operations through a detailed implementation of an SCM plan.

This course is designed for practitioners to understand the dynamic concept of supply chain and its role upon their industries through various components of SC. It is designed with usable tools and strategies to fast-track results and peak performance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Graduates or equivalent degree holders in any discipline from a recognized academic institution at home and abroad are eligible to apply for admission.

Admission and Course Fee
Each applicant has to pay Total BDT 15,200/-
(BDT 200/- for Registration Form Fee & BDT 15,000/- for Course Fee)

Class Schedule
On Saturdays only (from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
Duration: 3 Months (12 sessions)
